I have neglected this blog for a little while, so here is an update of designs I made in the meanwhile with Arcos and Minos beads

The first bracelet is also used in an add of the Beadsmith

For the Crown bracelet there is a pattern in my Etsy Shop

Ik heb de afgelopen tijd mijn blog een beetje verwaarloosd, maar hier is een update van de ontwerpen die ik de afgelopen periode heb gemaakt met de Arcos en Minos kralen van Puca.

De eerste armband is ook gebruikt voor een advertentie van de Beadsmith

I few years ago I made a free pattern for my O bead Necklace.

Unfortunately there were some people having trouble with this necklace. From some people I heard the necklace wrinkled and wasn’t flat. I think the problem is the little differences in the colour coatings of the O beads. Now I made this necklace again using a different threadpath. My necklace was nice and flat so I think I solved the problem.

Een paar jaar gelden heb ik een gratis patroon gemaakt voor mijn O bead ketting. Helaas kwam het voor dat mensen hem niet mooi plat konden maken, hij bleef kreukelig. Ik denk dat het komt dat er kleine verschillen zitten in de dikte van O beads door de verschillende kleur coatings

Ik heb de ketting opnieuw gemaakt waarbij ik anders geregen heb. Ik denk dat hiermee het probleem is opgelost

A still love to work with CzechMate Crescent as you can see in the first bracelet, But I think the new Arcos beads designed by Puca are also great to play with. Both are moon shaped beads, but because the holes are placed in a different side of the beads the have totally different apperance in beadwork

Ik vind de CzechMate Crescent nog steeds geweldige kralen om mee te werken, maar ook de nieuwe Arcos kralen ontworpen door Puca zijn erg leuk. Het zijn beide maanvormige kralen, maar omdat de positie van de gaten bij beide kralen ergens anders is is de uitstraling die ze hebben in je kralenwerk totaal anders

I love the Crecsent beads, this is my latest design with them. Ik vind de Crescent hele leuke kralen om meet te onwerpen, Dit is mijn laatste ontwerp met deze kralen.

Ik ben heel trots dat ik hier kan melden dat ik ben gevraagd door Beadwork Magazine om 1 van hun designers of the year 2016 te zijn. Dit betekent dat er in alle uitgaven van 2016 een ontwerp van mij zal staan

I found a new bead I love to play and design with, the 6 mm 2 hole cabochon.

The pink bracelet is the same bracelet I made with honey comb beads see the previous post. The second is a new design.

Thw patterns of both bracelets will be in my Etsy shop soon

Ik heb een nieuwe kraal gevonden om mee te spelen, de 6 mm 2 hole Cabochon

De roze armband is de zelfde als de armband met Honey combs uit het vorige bericht. De andere armband is een nieuw ontwerp.

De patronen voor beide armbanden zullen binnenkort in mijn Etsy shop te krijgen zijn

The honeycomb beads are beads in the shape of a honeycomb and are new on the market. As a member of the Beadsmith inspiration squad I had the opportunity to try them. I loved to play with them and I think it is a totally new shape with a lot of possibilities. I designed these bracelets with them. The golden bracelet is called Bzzzzzz Bracelet, and there will be a pattern available in shops that order the Honeycomb beads from the Beadsmith

De honeycomb of honinggraat kraal is een nieuwe kraal die net op de markt is gekomenAls lid van het beadsmith inspiratie team had ik de gelegenheid om ze uit te proberen. Ik denk dat deze vorm veel mogelijkheden bied tot het ontwerpen van sieraden. Ik heb onderstaande armbanden ermee gemaakt. De gouden armband heet Bzzzzz Armband. Het patroon zal binnenkort beschikbaar zijn via kralenwinkels die hun honeycomb kralen via de Beadsmith inkopen
